Established in 1989, Tattoo Ink Spot is the longest-running tattoo and body piercing studio in Pacific Beach, San Diego. What began as a local shop has grown into a legendary name—some of the original artists who were part of the original crew are carrying on the legacy.
Our team brings decades of experience, passion, and artistry to every tattoo and piercing. We specialize in all styles—from American Traditional, black and gray, and realism, to fine line, cover-ups, and custom work. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of tattooing multiple generations—from tattooing moms in the ‘90s to inking their grown children today. That kind of loyalty is earned through time, trust, and real dedication to the craft.

How much is your shop minimum?Our tattoos start at $100. Keep in mind that placement, detail, and size will have a factor on the price increasing. It's best to consult the artist for upgraded price.

Do I have to pick from flash at the shop or can I bring in my own design?No you do not have to pick from our flash, you may bring in your own inspiration. All our artists can work from whatever you bring in.

How much are your piercings?Prices vary depending on placement. Please refer to our Piercing Section of website for various prices.

Is the jewelry included in your piercing price?Yes, our piercing prices include jewelry.

What type of Jewelry do you pierce with?We pierce with implant grade surgical stainless steel 3-16 or titanium.

Do you pierce with a piercing-gun or needle?We pierce with properly sterilized single use needles.
